 Fort Lauderdale fishing daily report

Fort Lauderdale fishing was less than ideal today. We tried live baiting and trolling and both were essentially an exercise in futility. The fishing has been "difficult" for several days now. Some bigger Kingfish bites on live bait. Smaller Kingfish and some Bonitos while trolling, but very few. No Sailfish now for several days. The bright side is the bottom fishing has been producing Snappers, Amberjacks and an occasional African Pompano. Better Fort Lauderdale deep sea fishing is on the horizon with the approaching weather front. Until then we will spend more time bottom fishing.
