We are currently running two Fort Lauderdale Fishing Trips daily aboard Marlin My Darlin. Our morning fishing charters leave the dock between 7 and 8 AM. Your choice of the starting time. Afternoon charters typically take off between 12:30 and 1 PM. And the fishing is for the most part very good. We continue to have opportunities for Sailfish on both the morning and afternoon trips. Dorado have been available on most of our charters. We are seeing them on the reef and also off the edge. Kingfish have been a bit tougher and erratic. One here and one there, with the size on the smaller side as well.
Some Groupers on the wrecks. The wind is up and blowing again out of the east. Not ridiculous, but steadily blowing in the teens. It is typically good news for the fishing but not so wonderful for some anglers. The majority of our guests have done well with the conditions. You can see the chop on the water in the jumping Sailfish picture. Nice fish, typical fishing conditions lately. Another front coming thru this weekend. We have to be honest. We love that northeast wind with the fronts. The fish love it. Here’s hoping there isn’t too much of it at one time.
