 Fort Lauderdale fishing report/ Daily
Today’s weather left a little bit to be desired. Overcast skies and three to four foot seas awaited our Fort Lauderdale fishing charter. Our crew included Frank, Wick and Ami in town for a little fishing in advance of Wick’s wedding date next week. A couple of quick Kingfish started our day. Frank added a nice Dorado to the catch and then things slowed down. A couple of more bites but no hook ups. We set out a spread of live baits under the kites and we were in business with plan “B”. We caught and released two good sized Sailfish in short order. Wick landed both fish as Ami and Frank deferred, and preferred,
that Wick have the privilege as he was the reason for the charter and would be taking the walk down the aisle next week. Ami (Best Man/friend) than closed out the morning with the nice Dolphin pictured below, and then off to the airport for a quick flight back to Massachusetts.
