 Fort Lauderdale fishing report/ daily
The last three days (Dec 19, 20 & 21st) were really beautiful days for enjoying a Fort Lauderdale fishing trip. Great weather and very moderate seas greeted us on each day.
Dec 19 th started very slowly, but a little lady luck and some patience paid off with two really large fish. A nice Sailfish (pictured) and a fully grown Greater Amberjack (aka Reef Donkey because of their stubborn fight) for Tray and his gang. Big Bonitos and some smaller Tunas rounded out the charter. Sunday Dec 20 didn’t reward us with any really large fish, but the football Blackfin Tunas kept everybody happy with repeated bites. Today was a really active day for our guests from Sweden. Renna booked this charter over three months ago and had the good fortune to experience a good day of
Ft Lauderdale “offshore” fishing. Capt Steve elected to fish off the edge in deeper water and the result was nine nice Dolphin (Dorado. Mai Mai). Throw in a few more football Blackfin Tunas as the previous days, and we had some happy Swedes. There were some Sailfish around again, but we didn’t manage any today. Still very good fishing and great weather. Tomorrow is another day and Andrew is, as always, ready to go.
