Fort Lauderdale Deep Sea Fishing Report
Fort Lauderdale deep sea fishing trips continue to yield good catches of King Mackerel and Bonitos. The majority of these fish continue to be caught in less than 200 feet of water. There are some Wahoo being taken as well and the best action has been between 200 to 400 feet. Bright deep sea Gulfstream blue water is best, but these fish will get into the cloudier water as well, especially if the Bonitos are thick. It is no accident that the Wahoo are around. Good fish will be taken with regularity into the end of September as the large Bonito schools continue to pass thru our Fort Lauderdale charter fishing area. Some Amberjacks biting wreck fishing in deep water. Sharking is slow but there are some Sailfish in with the Bonito.
