 Fort Lauderdale Fishing/ Daily Blog
April 7-10, 2010
Fort Lauderdale fishing continued on a positive course the last several days. Few changes in species. Lots of Amberjacks on the offshore wrecks. Bigger Kingfish on the near shore reefs. We caught a couple of Sailfish just off the edge of the third reef in about 130 to 170 feet of water. One of our Hammerhead Sharks was quite possibly 500 pounds. “Full grown” as we like to say. Lots of seven and eight footers moving thru. The Dolphin continue to be a mystery. They should be here in good numbers, but are few and far between. Catching some Blackfin Tuna when we are looking for the Dolphin.
