Fishing remained fairly strong today, Lots of Kingfish on the reef and a few decent sized Dolphin also on the reef and just offshore. Still seeing some good sized schools of Mullet offshore and on the beach. Loads of Bullets (small Bonito) are showing up in our Ft Lauderdale charter fishing area. This is a positive sign and we will soon be doing quite a bit of live baiting with these little guys. Everything with teeth and a little bit bigger than they are eats them. We call them "chocolate cake". We will fish them along the reef line and also into the deeper water where the Gulfstream will have a bigger influence on the current. Some Sailfish around today but they were very scattered and not a good target for most boats. |
