Fort Lauderdale charter fishing report/ Daily Blog
January 13, 14, 2010
Fort Lauderdale charter fishing boats have had continued good luck with Sailfish. The weather has been beautiful (if a bit chilly) and every day holds the chance of multiple Sailfish bites. The 13th and 14th had good numbers of Sails in the early morning, and then a strong bite late in the day. They took a little siesta around mid-day, at least in our Fort Lauderdale fishing area. Kingfishing continues to be slow. Dorado continue to be scattered and on the small side. Some smaller Blackfin Tuna off the edge and out towards the Gulfstream, which is about six miles offshore. The happy angler in the picture (along with 1st mate Tommy) is Roger who brought his wife, son and grandson along for an afternoon aboard Marlin My Darlin.
