 My boats are having strong catches on Kingfish now that the full moon has passed. This holds true for trolling as well as live-baiting. These are fun fish to catch large or small, and we are always happy when the bite is on. Fully grown Bonito are mixed in and every day still a chance for a Sailfish. Mai-Mai continue to be elusive with only a few available. We had a Swordfish hooked up but pulled him off during a daytime deep drop out in 1800 feet. He was a good fish and Andrew was having difficulty in moving him. Missed a second bite. Can’t catch them all, but it sure would be nice. We’ll get him next time. Ft. Lauderdale offshore fishing for Swordfish is a great opportunity to catch a spectacular fish.
