June 13, 2010 MMD.jpg) Fort Lauderdale charter fishing report
The second week of June held few surprises in respect to Fort Lauderdale charter fishing. Several days we found the Mai-Mai (Dolphin fish). Many of these fish were small, but they were willing to bite and provided some good action. On most days we also managed to catch King Mackerel on the inshore reefs. Most of these were to the north of our inlet.
Bottom fishing provided some nice snappers and Amberjacks. Blackfin Tuna still hitting the fishbox, but not every day. Sailfishing has slowed with only a handful around this past week. The weather is perfect for offshore Swordfishing. How about a true deep-sea charter with Swordfish as the primary target? We are itching to go. Some larger Dolphin and Blue Marlin seen out in the area of the Gulfstream where we go on our Swordfish fishing charters.
