Fort Lauderdale fishing

Here’s our Fort Lauderdale fishing report for Mar 7 thru 13th:
The full moon coupled with lingering cold fronts has hampered fishing as of late. Sailfishing has been spotty and no large groups of fish have been located. Larger Sharks have been a plus and have been a welcome option. Again the majority of these sharks are Hammerheads. These fish are moving south into the current. Best bites come on the bottom but surface and mid-depth baits are also drawing bites. Kingfishing continues to be erratic. We have had some good catches out in the deeper water on the Kings. Bottom fishing has been O.K. with some larger Amberjacks like the one pictured here on the deeper wrecks.
