 Fort Lauderdale charter fishing/ Daily
Thursday, February 4, 2010
Today (Feb 4) we were fortunate to enjoy another great day of Fort Lauderdale fishing with our charter guests Brian, Cameron and Mike. We started our day trolling along the edge with four surface lines baited with feathered jigs each with a Bonito strip for action/scent. We quickly caught our limit of Kingfish on the deep lines and several Dorado out from under a flock of Gulls and a Man-O-War bird (aka Frigate). We then began live-baiting flying the medium fishing kites. Our Goggle Eyes proved why they are a favorite bait when kite fishing in Fort Lauderdale. The boys went 7 for 9 on the Sailfish. Nothing wrong with a seven Sailfish day. Another front coming tomorrow and this red hot fishing could fade out until the wind gets some north in it. That’s my guess, but I’ve been wrong before. Here’s to being wrong just one more time………….It’s a fast moving front and we expect clear skies and good conditions for the Superbowl, and our South Florida fishing charters.
The attached picture is of our weary anglers with some of the other fish they caught. Good job, Brian, Cameron and Mike!
