Fishing slowed for some today but we were fortunate and again had a strong day on the rip. We again caught our limit of King Mackerel. Today these fish were holding in roughly 140 feet of water 30 to 60 feet below the surface. The Bonito bite was fierce all morning from 80 feet all the way out to 275 feet. They can actually be very selective at times but once you find something in the drawer, put it out there and it's to their liking, it can be relentless. Just off the edge was again the place to be for Black fin Tuna.. Happy Birthday Bill. Thirty something
(seven) today. Tunas for the grill and here's your picture, you handsome devil. Evidence of an increase in Sharks on the near shore reefs. Swordfishing (daytime) is red hot per a couple of reputable sources. We need an all-day charter to reach these fish. Expensive buy, but great chances at success for a great fish, and besides you get to spend the entire day with us! The time is NOW for an excellent shot at catching Fort Lauderdale fishing's biggest prize, the Swordfish.
