July is here and some of our fishing strategies have to change to stay at the top of the game. The HOT summer days are here. This in turn heats up the surface temperature of the ocean quickly on the majority of our charters. Early morning or late afternoon is the way to go. There are and will continue to be super-sized Dolphin available offshore. The absolute minimum length charter required to chase these fish is six hours, with an all-day trip of eight hours the best way to go. These are fish on the move and a team effort of crew(and charter) will improve the chances for success when preparation meets opportunity. Some Wahoos, occasional Sailfish, and always a possibility of a Blue Marlin on these offshore charters along with the dolphin of all sizes. Half day(four hour) charters will essentially be spent on the inshore reefs in depths up to 200 feet. Kingfish will be our primary target species here. Expect lots of Bonito on most days
with occasional Wahoo, Barracuda. Blackfin Tuna and scattered Sails. Excellent conditions on most days
and nights for Swordfish specialty charters ,but these fish have been difficult as of late-but you can't catch them if you don't go .Lets go fishing.
Happy 4th and tight lines
