From this vantage point you can enjoy the 20 minute cruise from our Bahia Mar Resort dock through the Intracoastal Waterway past some of South Florida's finest multi-million dollar homes.

This view is fascinating, better know as the "Venice of America" for all the intertwining canals and mansions. Then we pass through Port Everglades, South Florida's deepest port, and into the Atlantic Ocean where we drop the lines and start your fishing adventure immediately. In most trips we fish no more the 2 miles offshore.

On the fishing deck you will find built in coolers with ice for your beverages. You have Rybovich and Pomanette fishing chairs to use while reeling in your catch.

The Marlin My Darlin is equipped with the finest electronics that include Furuno depth sounders and Global Positioning Systems. VFH radios, water temperature monitoring, and radar systems round out our electronics package.

Our fishing tackle is top of the line Penn International and Shimano. We are equipped and ready for all scenarios from inshore reefs to the depths of the Gulf stream's blue waters. We are equipped for any species and any type, style, or method of Fort Lauderdale fishing. If it's in the water, we can catch it.

You won’t need a cooler for your snacks and drinks. Your Fort Lauderdale charter boat has a huge, built-in cooler with ice to accommodate all your beverages.	A sports bag is a good idea to bring for carrying your rain gear, hat, glasses etc and other personal items that you need on a saltwater charter fishing trip.
Bring all your food and drinks. If you want to bring beer you do not have to clear it with the Fort Lauderdale charter boat Captain first.	If you will be fishing in foul or rainy weather then you may want to bring some gear to keep you dry. Not as important on boats with parlors, cabins, and covers.
Bring sun glasses. Preferably polarized fishing glasses to lessen the sun's glare that reflects up off the water. Fort Lauderdale fishing means you must take measures to combat the suns rays.	Bring a camera to take snapshots of those big fish you catch or bring a video camera and catch all the action that a Fort Lauderdale fishing trip offers.

All of the Fort Lauderdale and Miami fishing region can get very strong sunrays year round. Make sure you bring sunscreen, especially if you burn easily. If you forget your’s, we usually have some on board. If you are burnt up, you can’t enjoy your Fort Lauderdale charter fishing trip or beautiful South Florida on land or sea.	Soft soled shoes are a good idea when on a charter fishing trip. Boat shoes are of course, fine, but regular sneakers typically work just fine.
